Inside the Office

The story of Commercial Interiors, Inc., is a story of growth and dedication. Owner and President Lloyd Wolfe opened the company in 1993 with his wife Debra Wolfe after spending 20 years in the field as a carpenter, foreman, and project manager. As fairly young entrepreneurs, the couple worked diligently to seek success for their small but eager business.

Today, the company is thriving and healthy with a strong, complete field crew. These men bring an honest and professional work ethic to the jobsites on which they work. Individuals inside the office also hold and maintain high standards for success.

Tony Payton

Tony Payton is a key component of the Commercial Interiors, Inc., team. Since joining the company as estimator and project manager, he works closely with Lloyd to see that all projects are bid quickly and efficiently. His presence has opened new doors of opportunity for the company and has helped increase the quantity of its projects. A graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction, his experienced estimating skills demonstrate the value he has for both the company and the industry.

Mandy Baesler

As a recent graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Mandy Baesler serves as the office manager. She works with invoices, submittals, the safety program, project setup, payroll and a wide variety of other tasks. Mandy’s dedication to her work is evident, and her constant desire to learn and explore new approaches to her work only encourages her strongly committed coworkers.  

Summer Slankard

Having come to Commercial Interiors, Inc. with a great deal of managerial experience, Summer Slankard is the operations manager for the company. She oversees receivables, payables, payroll, billings, union dues and many human resources tasks. Prior to working for Commercial Interiors, Inc. Summer attended Indiana State University as a business major. She also spent a significant amount of time working in the finance and mortgage industry. Summer constantly works to help the company achieve high levels of efficiency; her excellent problem solving skills and sense of humor make her a true asset to the company. 

Debra Wolfe

Finally, Chief Financial Officer Debra Wolfe manages all administrative functions including payroll, union dues, insurance, federal and state taxes, and a number of other financial duties. Additionally, she assists Lloyd in creating long-term company goals and ensuring customer satisfaction. As part owner, Debra works methodically and carefully in order to maintain the financial side of the company.

Lloyd Wolfe

As president and chief estimator, Lloyd Wolfe oversees all company activity, projects and progress. He plays an active role in safety and quality control and takes part in all daily operations. He focuses on the service role of the company to be sure that all customers, suppliers and general contractors are more than pleased with the performance of Commercial Interiors, Inc. Lloyd strives to prepare estimates and maintain company direction in a way which holds high the standard for success.
